5. You’ll Never Guess the Highest Paid EDM Artist of 2018

On Sunday, Forbes’ released their annual list of the Highest Paid Celebrities of the year. This year, the list features none other than EDM DJ/music producer Calvin Harris at number 50. The artist is apparently worth $48million, and with his residency at Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas, will net £1million (euros) per show between now and 2020. Another EDM artist featured on the list was The Chainsmokers, coming in at number 59.

4. Skrillex Potentially ‘Werk’-ing on Rihanna’s New Album

Rolling Stone reported that Skrillex is potentially collaborating with superstar Rihanna on her next album release. The story also reported that the Rihanna is actually working on TWO separate albums to release – a pop record and a dancehall record. Skrillex would likely be featured on the dancehall, reggae album. Between the two albums, the singer apparently has 500 songs to choose from.

3. Zedd’s New Single is Here, and We’re ‘Happy Now’

After nearly six months since Zedd released his last track, Zedd released a new track entitled “Happy Now.” The song was a collaboration with artist Ellie Duhe. Zedd first debuted the track at his event in California “Zedd in the Park.”

2. We Are STILL the Lucky Ones… And We Just Got Even Luckier

Last night, Hardwell posted on Facebook announced the follow-up to his hit track – and as he wrote “one of the most special songs” to him – Apollo. The track will debut this weekend at Tomorrowland. Seeing as Hardwell first premiered Apollo at Tomorrowland 2013, it’s only fitting he release the follow-up track where it all began.

1. This New Excision and Illenium Collaboration is Pure ‘Gold (Stupid Love)’

The highly anticipated track was released this past Monday. The track features vocals from Shallows, whose soothing melodious voice compliments the eerie, haunting nature of the track.
